CONSTITUTION OF THE |

Preamble: We, the undersigned, wishing to
secure for ourselves the pleasures and benefits of the association of persons
commonly interested in Amateur radio, constitute ourselves the Shelby County Amateur Radio Club and
enact this constitution as our governing law.
It shall be our purpose to further the exchange of information and
cooperation between members, to promote communications knowledge, fraternalism,
and individual operating efficiency, the furtherance of public welfare, the
advancement of communication Article I Membership: The membership of the Shelby County Amateur Radio Club is composed of licensed radio amateurs and others interested in promoting and carrying out the purposes of the fraternity. Article II Board of Directors:

III By-Laws: The By-Laws shall provide the rules for governing the affairs of the Shelby County Amateur Radio Club, and shall provide for regular and special meetings. Article IV Dues: The Shelby County Amateur Radio Club, by a two-thirds majority vote of those present at any regular meeting, may levy upon the general membership such dues or assessments as shall be deemed necessary for the business of the organization within its objectives as set forth in the preamble. Non-payment of such dues shall be cause for expulsion from The Club at the discretion of the membership. Article V Amendments: This Constitution may be amended by a three/fourths vote of the membership present at a regular meeting. Proposals for amendments shall be presented in writing at a regular meeting and shall be voted on at the next regular meeting, provided all members have been notified by mail of the intent to amend the Constitution at said meeting.
